TCIC Bible Connection 2022

The Annual Bible Connection was held on Sabbath Afternoon, July 17, 2022.

Three churches were represented at this event: Blue Hills, Bethel and Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Sister Judith Robinson, The Youth Director of the Conference, spearheaded this event and brought greetings and a word of encouragement to the audience and participants. She reminded those participating that  the purpose of the event was not to compete with each other, but to study and show themselves approved unto God.

Bible Connection 2022 saw persons represented from every level of the Youth Ministry Department of the church:Adventurer, Pathfinder and Adventist Youth.

Since the advancement of technology across the globe, we have seen the implementation of such within not only our classrooms, but our church as well. Hence, each participant from the youngest to the oldest, completed the quiz electronically.

There were 2 rounds and each round was timed. The Adventurers received a total of 45 questions and the pathfinders and Youth received a total of 50 questions. 

For the Adventurers, there were 2 participants: Ameera Green and Angel Arthur.

Ameera Green from the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church and the 2021 Bible Connection winner,  received 1st place for the Adventurers and Angel Arthur from the Blue Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church,received 2nd place.

For the Pathfinders, there were three participants: Eshton  Cherizard , Lendsey P. Variau and Rohan-Jae Champagnie.

Rohan- Jae Champagnie from the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church and 2021 Bible Connection winner, received 1st place and also scored the highest in the entire competition.  Eshton Cherizard from the Blue Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church received 2nd Place and Lendsey Veriau from the Bethel Seventh-day Adventist placed 3rd Place.

The Youth category had 2 participants: Ronique Brown and Vermesha Cox

Ronique Brown from the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist church and 2021 Bible Connection Winner, received 1st place. Vermesha Cox, a new convert from the Blue Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church captured the 2nd place position. 

All participants received a trophy and a certificate of participation along with a cash prize to go towards their formal education. All participants were commended for a job well done. They were also a source of encouragement to the onlooking audience through their dedication and willingness to study  and showforth their knowledge of the word of God.
