Adventist Teachers’ Appreciation Day

Tomorrow October 12 will be celebrated as Adventist Teachers’ Appreciation Day. A special service will be held at the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church to show appreciation to the teachers of Maranatha Academy.

Children and Adolescents Week of Prayer

Churches throughout our conference will be observing Children and Adolescents Week of Prayer on October 13-19 under the theme “Steel Values.” Come out and support our children as they seek the Lord in Prayer.

Evangelism Workshop

The Personal Ministries Department of the conference will be hosting an Evangelism Workshop on October 20-25 at the Blue Hills Church. Come out an equip yourself to fulfill the Great Commission. During the workshop the conference will also launch its evangelism strategy “Ignite.”

Back Tithe Month

November is back tithe month. We are encouraging all who need to make it right with the Lord in the area of tithing to do so. In the book Counsels on Stewardship page 91 it says, “What of your stewardship? Have you during the past year robbed God in tithes and offerings? Look at your well-filled barns, at your cellars stored with the good things the Lord has given you, and ask yourselves whether you have returned to the Giver that which belongs to Him. If you have robbed the Lord, make restitution. As far as possible, make the past right, and then ask the Saviour to pardon you.”  This November make a commitment to make it right!
