Pastor Steve Cornwall

President

Pastor Steve Cornwall was born in Kingston, Jamaica, but grew up in the parish of St. Elizabeth, where he was baptized at the tender age of nine and started his ministry as a lay preacher at age fifteen.

 

In 2015 he accepted a call to the Turks & Caicos Island to serve as pastor of the French-speaking congregations in Providenciales and later that year he was voted as the Executive Secretary of the Turks & Caicos Islands Mission.

He is married to Kissia Cornwall, née Thomas and their marriage has produced two boys: Matthew and Marc. 

  On December 2, 2018 at the Inaugural Conference Session of the Turks and Caicos Islands Conference, he was voted as the first President of the Conference

Pastor Roy Lindsay

SECRETARY

Pastor Roy Fitzgerald Lindsay was born in Jamaica, in the Parish of Portland.  He migrated to the Turks and Caicos Islands at the age of 4 years old. At the age of 7, he surrendered his life to Jesus, and was baptized.


Pastor Roy attended the Northern Caribbean University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion, with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry.  He then obtained  a Master of Divinity Degree, with an emphasis on Leadership, from Liberty University, in 2006.


Pastor Lindsay’s Pastoral Ministry has spanned over 15 years, and he has held various posts in the Conference.  Presently, he also serves as the Personal Ministries director.

 

He is supported in Ministry by his Wife, Sis Alexia, and the union has produced two children, Amelia and Roy Junior.

Pastor Roy was voted by the Executive Committee of the Turks and Caicos Islands Conference to serve as the Executive Secretary, and began to serve on July 1, 2023.

Ms. Simone Gilkes

Treasurer

Simone Gilkes was born in the land of “One people, One nation, One Destiny”-Guyana.

In 1989 she migrated to the Turks and Caicos and has made these islands her home ever since.

She has two adult children: Breanna and Marvin.

She is a Chartered Certified Account and in 2015 was voted as the treasurer of the then Turks and Caicos Islands Mission. On December 2, 2018 when the mission transitioned to a conference she was elected as its first treasurer.
