Seven Individuals Baptized in 2019 Youth Campaign
The Youth Ministries Department of the Turks and Caicos Islands Conference hosted its annual youth evangelistic campaign under the theme “Crossroads- What to do when you don’t know what to do” with Pastor Dexter Dennis on August 24-September 7, 2019.
Pastor Dennis who hails from Jamaica, delivered powerful sermons that were contextualized to appeal to the youth night after night as he gave them the invitation to come to Christ.
At the end of the first week, four individuals were baptized and the second week saw three individuals being baptized which gave a total seven individuals surrendering to Christ.
Special recognition must be made of Ms. Wilnide Julmiste, Children and Adolescents Ministries Director from the Conference – a youth herself - who served as translator for the campaign. The youth campaign was the second two-week evangelistic series that Wilnide translated for during this summer. We are grateful for her dedication and wish to encourage her as she seeks to work for the Lord.
